Rotary kiln refers to a rotating sintering kiln (commonly known as a rotary kiln), which belongs to cement materials equipment and is widely used in cement, metallurgy, building materials, chemical industry, environmental protection and other fields. It has the characteristics of simple structure, high operation rate, and reliable production process control, high product quality, and few easily damaged parts. Rotary kilns are divided into variable diameter rotary kilns and through diameter rotary kilns to their external shape, and can be divided into cement kilns, metallurgy chemical kilns and lime kilns according to the different materials processed. Cement kilns are mainly for calcining cement clinker, including dry cement production kilns and wet cement production kilns. Metallurgical chemical kilns are mainly used for the magnetization roasting of iron in steel plants; the oxidation roasting of chromium and nickel iron ore; the roasting of high alumina vanadium ore in refractory material plants and the ro of clinker and hydrogenated aluminum in aluminum plants; the roasting of chromium ore sand and chromium ore powder in chemical plants and other types of ore. Lime kil (i.e., active lime kilns) are used to roast active lime and light burned dolomite for steel plants and ferroalloy plants, etc. Users choose the appropriate equipment type according to the actual material needs.
Fuel combustion, heat transfer and raw material movement must be properly coordinated so that the heat generated by fuel combustion can be transmitted to the raw material in time during time the raw material passes through the rotary kiln, in order to achieve the purpose of high yield, high quality and low consumption.

The main structure of the rotary kiln consists of the kiln head, kiln tail, cylinder, support device, motor, and drive device. them, the support device consists of 3 sets of idlers, the kiln tail is equipped with an expansion belt, and the inner liner of the cylinder is built with highalumina bricks and magnesia-chrome bricks.
The rotary kiln is a cylindrical object with a certain slope, with a slope of 3 to .5%, which promotes the stirring of the material in the rotary kiln by the rotation of the kiln, so that the material is mixed and contacted with each other reaction. Coal is sprayed and burned at the kiln head, which produces a large amount of heat, and the heat is transferred to the material by the radiation of the flame, convection of the hot gas, and the conduction of the kiln bricks. The material moves forward in the kiln by relying on the slope of the kiln cylinder and the rotation the kiln.
