Working principle

Dry wet material is delivered by belt conveyor or bucket elevator to a hopper, and then through the hopper's feeder into feed end of the feed pipe. The slope of the feed pipe should be greater than the natural angle of the material to ensure that the material flows smoothly into the cooler. The cooling is a rotating cylinder that is slightly inclined from the horizontal. Material is added from the higher end, and the heat carrier flows out from the lower end, contacting the material incurrent, and also flowing into the cylinder with the material. As the cylinder rotates, the material moves to the lower end under the action of gravity. During the forward movement of wet material in the cylinder, it is directly or indirectly heated by the heat carrier, which allows the hot material to be cooled, and then discharged from the discharge end through a beltor or screw conveyor. There are lifting blades installed on the inner wall of the cylinder, which play a role in lifting the material and then spreading it out, increasing the contact between the material and the airflow to improve the cooling rate and promote the advancement of the material. The cooling medium is generally divided into cold air, etc. After passing through the, the heat carrier generally needs to be captured by a cyclone dust collector to collect the material carried in the gas. If it is necessary to further reduce the dust content in the gas, it should also be discharged after passing through a bag filter or wet dust collector.
